The purpose of the philanthropy committee is to plan events that enrich the community around us.
In the past, Theta Tau has participated in Dance Marathon, Habitat Builds, Relay for Life,
and making dinner at the Ronald McDonald house. This semester, we

plan to volunteer with Habitat for Humanity, especially as they begin their Tippie Build.
Habitat for Humanity is the recognized philanthropy of Theta Tau, so chapters organize
local Builds as often as possible. Also, the National Chapter plans an Alternative Spring Break
Trip each year, which takes place in Florida. Members from across the nation unite to help families
in need of quality and affordable homes. For more information on Habitat for Humanity,
