(Adapted from Dingman 2008):
- Compute the residence times for all seven storage components of the global
hydrologic cycle in Figure 3-16 (class handout). Assume equality of
inputs and outputs for each component.
- What are the possible implications of these residence times to the response
of the various components to pollution and to global warming?
