About Me
I am a researcher working with the Iowa Flood Center, IIHR - Hydroscience and Engineering. My research interests include radar signal processing, compressed sensing, remote sensing, array signal processing, detection and estimation theory, radar polarimetry and FPGA-based hardware design.

Background
I graduated in 2015 with a PhD in Electrical and Computer Engineering and an M.S. in Mathematics from The University of Iowa under the supervision of my advisers Dr. Anton Kruger and Dr. Witold Krajewski. I also closely collaborate with Dr. Weiyu Xu.

I obtained my M.S. (by thesis) in Electrical Engineering from Colorado State University where, among other contributions, I designed and developed digital receiver and signal processor for the NASA GPM Dual-Frequency Dual-Polarized Doppler Radar (D3R) system.

Prior to joining the graduate school in 2007, I worked on portable, ground-based surveillance radars as a research scientist in the Ground-based Radar Signal Processing Group of Electronics and Radar Development Establishment, Bangalore, a premier radar research lab in India during 2003-2007. In 2003, I graduated summa cum laude from National Institute of Technology (NIT), Hamirpur with a B. Tech. in Electronics and Communication Engineering. I am an almunus of Kendriya Vidyalaya 1STC Jabalpur, India.
