Ozbolat is a faculty of Mechanical
Industrial Engineering Department
at the University
He is also affiliated in the Center for Computer-aided Design (CCAD)
research professor. He received his Ph.D in Industrial
and Systems Engineering from the University at
(SUNY) in Buffalo, New York, and dual
B.S. degrees in Mechanical Engineering and in Industrial
Engineering from Middle
East Technical University,
Ozbolat's major research thrust is in the area of
Design, Manufacturing and Tissue Engineering with a special focus on
Biomanufacturing, Additive Manufacturing, Electronic Manufacturing and
Based Manufacturing (MBM). His research has been published in several
quality of venues and featured in local, national and international
media, broadcast TVs and press numerous times. Please see research

Program. He belongs
to Institute of Industrial Engineers (IIE), American Society of
Engineers (ASME), Alpha Pi Mu Honor Society (APM), Society of
Manufacturing Engineers (SME) and Tissue Engineering and Regenerative
Medicine International Society (TERMIS).
He frequently give talks at local, national and international forums,
conferences and seminars and organizes demonstrations and events to
public and youth to encourage participation of future's engineers in
medicine, engineering and science.

Design for Manufacturing Laboratory. He has been engaged in several
projects sponsored by governmental agencies, private corporations,
local agencies and industry in

and energy. As a part of CCAD mission, Dr. Ozbolat has been
participated in spinning-off companies, where he co-owns the Virtual
Systems Engineering, LLC. and BioPrint, LLC.
