Grading

Grades will be allocated as follows:

Class Attendance and Participation: 25%
Homework (HW1 - HW7, the presentation counts as an additional HW):    40%
Project (see Project page):    35%

Attendance

Note: Attendance at class or lab session is MANDATORY and attendance will be taken. You will be allowed to miss, for the entire semester, a total of 4 sessions that don't involve your direct participation. Emergency absences above this amount have to be authenticated and approved.

Late Assignments and Homework

A late fee of 15% of the grade is imposed for each day (or part of a day) that an assignment or homework is late.
