Internet access needs to be completely integrated in every program, not just available through a generic browser.  Napster and P2P file sharing programs are good examples of this type of Web service.  There is a separate dedicated program running on the user’s machine while connected to the Internet and connected with other people.  There are these types of programmers out there in RPC, DCOM, and MSMQ, but many of these are not able to communicate with each other.  In an ideal world, these different solutions could communicate with one another.
