3-D Reconstruction from Biplane Angiograms

This page provides a short overview of some topics of my research concerning 3-D reconstruction from biplane angiograms, which I performed during my work at the German Heart Institute of Berlin and for my Ph.D. studies.

This work is currently extended by image fusion with intravascular ultrasound (IVUS).

An exemplary all-round visualization of a reconstructed model is provided to show the visualization facilities of our system. Another example for visualization in clinical routine is the verification of laser-angioplasty interventions. Quantitative analyses of high accuracy and clinical value were performed for assessment of diffuse coronary artery diseases.
